Fee Refund & Withdrawal Rules

This policy outlines the rules and procedures that apply in case of withdrawal from Unique International School. Please read these guidelines carefully to understand your obligations and rights.

Important Information

All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to the Principal. School Leaving Certificates will only be issued after all outstanding dues have been fully settled. Parents are advised to carefully review the applicable rules based on the timing of withdrawal.

Mid-Term Withdrawals

Withdrawal during an ongoing academic session

(a) Written Application & Payment Requirements
  • Written Notice: Parents must submit a written application well in advance to the Principal regarding the withdrawal.
  • Full Month Payment: Parents are required to pay the Tuition Fee and Transport Service Charges for the full month in which the child is withdrawn.
  • Part Month Calculation: Part of a month will be treated as one complete month for fee calculation purposes.
  • No Refund: The proportionate fee paid in advance for the period for which the child has not studied in the school will not be refunded.
(b) Advance Fee Payment
Important: If a child's fee is paid in advance during admission, no fee will be refunded to the parent under any circumstances.

Withdrawal From New Session

Withdrawal at the beginning of a new academic year

(a) Application Deadline & Requirements

Critical Deadline: Parents must apply in writing on or before the first day of the next academic session. Failure to meet this deadline will result in mid-term withdrawal rules being applied.

  • Full Month Payment: The Tuition Fee and Transport Service Charges for the entire month must be paid for the month in which the child is withdrawn.
  • Part Month Treatment: Part of a month will be treated as one complete month in such cases.
  • No Proportionate Refund: The proportionate fee paid by the parent in advance for the period for which the child has not studied will not be refunded.
  • Annual Charges: The Annual Charges for the entire quarter in which the child studied must be paid by the parent.

Withdrawal Due to Unavoidable Circumstances

Special circumstances and admission cancellation

No Refund Policy
If a parent has to withdraw the child from school due to unavoidable circumstances, OR if the child doesn't attend the school for a single day: Parents must submit an application for cancellation of admission. No fee will be refunded under any circumstances. This policy applies regardless of the reason for non-attendance.

School Leaving Certificate (T.C.)

Requirements for certificate issuance

Certificate Issuance Policy

School Leaving Certificate (Transfer Certificate) for children withdrawing from the school is not issued until all outstanding dues are completely settled.

  • All tuition fees as per withdrawal rules
  • Transport service charges (if applicable)
  • Annual charges (if applicable)
  • Any other outstanding dues or charges
  • Library or laboratory charges (if any)

Key Points to Remember
